12/17/11 (3)
2011 was a super stressful year running my business, working on commissions and teaching in five SF schools. I look forward to some new exciting stuff coming up in 2012. The blue bear will be motivating people to read as my gallery will be sponsoring the up and coming SF summer read program for the SF public library. I will be teaching my old 3D gaming track @ BAVC for their NextGen program. And last but not least-I will continue my collaboration with Oaklandish to produce some more t-shirts. Have a great holiday-the gallery will be closed till Jan. 7th. I’ll leave you with my last painting of 2011-check it out @ TOAST Polk and Sacramento Street. -
11/21/11 More Toast and stuff. (4)

New commission 10/28/11 (1)
I loved this painting. The whole process came out as fluid as possible and I enjoyed the challenge of painting with darker colors. I can't talk too much about its new owner other then the fact that it has a great new home outside of the United States. My studio will truly miss this painting. check out my Twitter and Instagram feed for the step by step painting process-On to the next one. -
“Still Here” 3.9 Collective Group Exhibition 10/8/11 6-9pm (1)
I will be transforming the gallery for our next show"still here":The word “black” recently has become all to synonymous with the act of vanishing, especially in San Francisco where the 2010 census revealed that the African American population has dropped to 3.9%. What does that mean for a city that prides itself on its cultural diversity when members of its population are no longer represented? The loss of a culture, the absence of differentiation, even the lack of a visual presence can be devastating to a community. With the exhibition entitled “Still Here”, San Francisco artists Nancy Cato, Rodney Ewing, Sirron Norris, William Rhodes, and Ron Moultrie Saunders have adopted this statistic and created a banner of support and defiance. The work they will be creating confronts this anomaly of absence by representing how at least one segment of the Black community is alive, and a integral part of San Francisco culture. The work may not stem the tide of the exodus, but to paraphrase the poet Dylan Thomas “We will not go quietly into that good night”. 10/8/11 7-9pm. We are very excited to have a live performance by Kippy Marks 7-9pm http://kippymarks.us/ and also Rocky Yazzie's amazing Frybread!! -
